What is the opportunity?

In their administrative role, the Talent Management Coordinator is responsible for supporting talent management process and programs, including the tracking of employee training, development and performance. The successful candidate will work with members of the Talent Management Team to ensure that results meet the needs and expectations of internal customers, using a leadership and skills development approach.

What will you do?

  • Support the ongoing implementation and operation of talent management and performance tools, processes, and programs;
  • Participate in the deployment of talent/performance management projects and program development to promote continuous improvement and organizational growth;
  • Participate in identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting implementation of team initiatives;
  • Coordinate and communicate with Talent Management Consultants and other employees to make sure team events are successfully completed;
  • Actively contribute to process improvement using best practice research;
  • Ensure the availability and integrity of the data (reports) necessary for tracking key departmental indicators through a dashboard;
  • Participate in the creation of HR communications and data analysis to support the Senior Manager, Communications, Talent Management and Recognition.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as human resource management, business administration, organizational development, or applied behavioural science. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience deemed acceptable may apply;
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is essential;
  • Diplomacy, discretion, confidentiality
  • Experience in a team support function;
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and produce results in a complex, dynamic and constantly-evolving work environment;
  • Strong ability to work as part of a team;
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders at various levels;
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and rigor;
  • Excellent interpersonal relationships, and good ability to clearly express ideas;
  • Excellent command of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Word, Visio);
  • Experience with an HR data management system (an asset).
  • Working conditions

  • The successful candidate will work in an office environment. *Due to COVID-19 work from home until further notice*
  • Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; be prepared to work beyond regular hours on occasion based on business needs.
