What will your typical day look like?
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Support stakeholders with Canadian Member Firm Supplier Diversity efforts with a specific focus on black-owned and persons with disabilities-owned businesses and support Deloitte Canada’s goals (tbd) for black-owned businesses and support existing goals for persons with disabilities-owned businesses as defined in the AccessAbility Action Plan.
- Operationalize black-owned business portal by identifying suppliers across the various procurement categories to interview and profile in the portal.
- Build and operationalize PWD portal.
- Support category analysis and identify new/non-obvious opportunities for diverse supplier inclusion.
- Support supplier development through supplier training and education on the procurement process and how to do business with Deloitte.
- Support activity reporting jointly with Deloitte Canada to measure results, portal usage and other key metrics as defining in the sustainment plan at an approved cadence.
- Manage relationship with associations and engage with black-owned and pwd-owned businesses and community.
- Build ongoing portal sustainment plan.
- Liaison to Global Supplier Diversity Procurement Lead for supplier diversity priorities and actions.
- Accountable for communication / facilitate connections between Black-owned business and engagement / delivery leaders as needed.
- Support training of the Global Procurement team to understand and support Deloitte Canada Supplier Diversity objectives.
- Build out criteria and process to accept self-certified black-owned businesses if we do not establish a relationship with a certifying association i.e., CAMSC (Canadian Aboriginal and Minority Supplier Council).
In addition, CoRe procurement will roll out procurement process improvements and activities to support black-owned and persons with disabilities-owned businesses:
- Integrate diverse supplier identification process into procurement processes to target new suppliers.
- Ensure diverse suppliers are included in sourcing event execution (RFX).
- Decision Models to promote selection of diverse suppliers.
- Diverse suppliers spend tracking.
- Training of the Global Procurement team to understand and support Deloitte Canada Supplier Diversity objectives.

You are someone with:
- Excellent project management; negotiation and presentation skills.
- A Bachelor's degree
- Bilingualism in French and English is a strong asset
- 8+ years of experience with 5+ years of previous progressive experience in the following:
- Strategic sourcing and leading multi-category supplier diversity strategies.
- Successfully implementing and delivering equity, diversity and inclusion programming.
- Community engagement, leadership and development.
- Developing authentic and meaningful relationships with stakeholders (internally with a senior audience and externally) to become a trusted advisor and partner.
- Acting as a subject matter expert and ambassador of Black-owned businesses and Persons with Disabilities
