Axiom Real-Time Metrics, Inc. leading health care technology company focused on running clinical trials is seeking a full-time Talent & Acquisition Specialist to join its team.

Candidates should have experience recruiting from IT, Technology or health care sectors with at least 5+ years recruitment experience.

The Talent & Acquisition Specialist is an integral member of the HR team and is well versed in seeking qualified candidates to join Axiom's team. This position is responsible for the full life cycle of the recruitment process. This includes but is not limited to all aspects of the recruiting process including but not limited to working with Managers to develop job descriptions, reviewing resumes, screening candidates through phone interviews and in-person meetings, drafting pre-hire paperwork and onboarding.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Liaise with Managers to determine open position and staffing needs.
  • Post open positions on relevant job boards, universities, and associations.
  • Create job descriptions for open positions working with hiring managers.
  • Review incoming resumes for open positions.
  • Keen understanding using LinkedIn and other relevant job platforms (Indeed, Monster etc.).
  • Screen candidates by conducting phone interviews.
  • Document and prepare write-up on all phone interviews and employment screening.
  • Liaise with Managers to select qualified candidates for in-person interviews.
  • Meet with candidates for in-person interviews.
  • Conduct salary and/or compensation analysis for relevant positions with the assistance of your Manager.
  • Liaises with Hiring Manager to obtain feedback on candidates being interviewed.
  • Provide follow-up to Managers and candidates regarding the interview/candidate process.
  • Prepare write-ups/ analysis of recruiting process.
  • Conducts on-campus/co-op/internship recruitment.
  • Builds relationship with schools for internship and campus recruitment
  • Conducts and administers third party background checks
  • Prepares new hire documentation
  • Collaborates with HR for preparation of onboarding materials and training documents.
  • Communication with new hire prior to commencement.
  • Handles and conducts background checks for new hires.
  • Handles all aspects of the pre-hire onboarding (with HR team assistance)
  • Ability to run new hire orientation and new hire onboarding.
  • Relays grant opportunities to finance when applicable.
  • Involved with other related aspects of recruitment and talent acquisition/training and development as may be required by Company from time to time.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • 5 + years' experience working in HR Recruitment, Training & Development and/or recruitment firm.
  • HR Professional Certification.
  • Familiarity with Health Care and/or Bio-Tech Sectors
  • Prior Training & Development Experience
  • Degree from University with focus on Human Resources
  • Understanding of Human Resources and the recruiting process
  • Training and Development Experience
  • Keen understanding of Compensation Management
  •  Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook
  • Proficiency for using all aspects of LinkedIn
  • Proficiency for using variety of job boards
  •  Well-developed written and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others
