What will your typical day look like?

Working with Member Firms (MFs), Global Businesses (GBs) and Global Clients & Industries (GC&I), Global Talent drives the development of our network talent strategy, designs/co-designs high priority global talent solutions, and facilitates the adoption of those solutions through 6 priority areas: Talent Experience, Deloitte University, Performance Experience, Workforce of the Future, Technology and Global Talent Shared Services (GTSS).

The Talent Experience priority collaborates with Deloitte member firms to attract and retain top talent and to strengthen our capability to deliver an exceptional Deloitte talent experience across the organization. The role of the Global Talent ALL IN Manager will be working on Global Inclusion priority projects identified by the Global Talent/ALL IN leadership which are critical to making significant short term and sustained long term progress as it relates to Gender balance, LGBT+ inclusion, Mental Health and an inclusive culture.The initial projects that will be the focus of this role are:

  • Develop programs and initiatives in support of our ALL IN diversity & inclusion priorities related to Respect & Inclusion, Gender Balance, LGBT+ inclusion, Mental Health and Eminence
  • The role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including project planning and management, leading virtual project teams with individuals from other organizations, influencing stakeholders to contribute to and adopt project deliverables and development/activation of communication and knowledge sharing plans, and assisting with preparation of deliverables (e.g., meeting agendas, presentations, summary/notes, etc.) for key project meetings and communications.

While the primary focus will initially be on leading efforts related to the projects noted above, the role will be responsible for managing other Global Talent projects over time. As the priorities for Global Talent change, the projects being delivered by this role will likely shift and change.

Initially, key relationships include member firm/global business talent leaders, member firm/global business learning leaders, Regional DU Deans, Deloitte Consulting project teams, as well as colleagues across Global Talent.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone with:

  • Exceptional project management, time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills – including project time-line planning
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills—ability to produce high quality written work and deliverables, particularly drafting email communications and developing, contributing, and editing content for presentations, summaries, reports, etc.
  • Proactive approach, ability to execute projects—on deadline—with minimal guidance and supervision
  • Ability to adapt approach under pressure and prioritize/balance multiple projects at the same time while working with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Good risk appreciation – anticipate challenges and pro-actively consider solutions
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills – particularly in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Previous talent or diversity and inclusion experience preferred
  • Experience participating in large, virtual global project teams; Prior experience working on global or multinational projects preferred
  • Significant experience building relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Flexibility in working hours in order to work with global clients; EU or U.S. working hours required
  • Ability to work independently and/or remotely
  • Demonstrated understanding of the DTTL organizational structure and matrixed interactions between global and local MF management and processes
  • Prior experience developing strategies and programs for Talent, Mental Health/Well-being, or Diversity & Inclusion preferred
