Worker Type: Employee Job Post End Date: 10/03/2026 About this opportunity: Reporting to the Senior Manager, HR Business Partners, this role provides strategic HR support to the Operations & Technical Services leadership team, leaders, and employees. Working closely with HR Business Partners and Centers of Expertise, you will deliver people programs and services that align with business objectives and workforce strategies. As a trusted advisor, you will partner with leaders to enhance organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, talent outcomes, and workforce readiness while supporting the successful delivery of business goals. This position is based in Calgary, Alberta. Responsibilities: Partner with leaders to develop and execute people strategies that support business objectives, workforce plans, and organizational effectiveness. Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on talent management, succession planning, employee development, retention, and engagement. Lead integrated talent processes, including talent reviews, succession planning, workforce planning, performance management, and internal mobility. Identify organizational challenges, workforce risks, and capability gaps, and implement practical solutions to improve business performance. Provide consultation and coaching to leaders on organizational design, change management, leadership effectiveness, and employee experience. Use workforce data, market trends, and people insights to inform decision-making and shape people strategies. Partner with HR Centres of Expertise and HR Operations to deliver aligned, effective, and business-focused HR programs and services. Advise leaders and employees on employee relations matters, performance concerns, workplace conduct, and company policies. Lead or contribute to HR and cross-functional initiatives that advance business priorities and continuous improvement. Foster a high-performing culture through effective leadership support, organizational capability building, and workforce readiness. Qualifications: Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. Post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline. Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 4 years in an HR Business Partner capacity. Demonstrated success partnering with senior leaders to develop and implement strategic people solutions that support business objectives. Proven experience across key HR disciplines, including organizational effectiveness, organizational design, talent management, succession planning, workforce planning, employee relations, and change management. Strong track record of increasing responsibility, scope, and complexity throughout an HR career. Professional HR designation (CHRP) or equivalent is considered an asset.
