What we’re looking for Leo Berwick is seeking a highly organized, proactive Recruitment Associate to support and scale our talent acquisition efforts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the operational rigor of recruitment coordination and the analytical, research-driven work of talent mapping and sourcing. You’ll work closely with our HR team and hiring managers to build high-quality candidate talent pools, maintain momentum across multiple searches, and deliver a polished, high-touch candidate experience in a fast-paced environment. This is a remote-first role; however, candidates who live near one of our office locations may be asked to attend the office occasionally for team meetings, collaboration, or business needs. Manage candidate scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups with accuracy and urgency. Act as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process. Candidate Experience & Communication (~20%) Deliver timely, professional, and thoughtful communication at every stage of the process. Track candidate progress and maintain clear, organized recruiting documentation. Operational & Administrative Support (~15%) Maintain organized recruiting records, search trackers, and candidate notes. Draft and format recruiting materials, interview guides, reporting and status updates. Monitor recruiting inboxes and prioritize incoming requests. Talent Mapping & Sourcing (~15%) Conduct comprehensive talent mapping across our business lines. Proactively identify, research, and engage high-caliber candidates using LinkedIn, referrals, and market intelligence. Build and maintain detailed talent pools for current and future hiring needs. Partner with stakeholders to understand role requirements, ideal profiles, and long-term talent strategy. New Hire Onboarding Support (~10%) Support offer coordination and pre-onboarding logistics, including offer letter follow-up and required documentation. Coordinate new hire onboarding logistics such as background checks, IT/equipment setup, and first-day scheduling with internal stakeholders. Serve as a point of contact for new hires between offer acceptance and start date to ensure a smooth transition. Process Improvement & Special Projects (~5%) Identify opportunities to update recruiting workflows and improve efficiency. Support hiring initiatives, search strategy development, and people related projects. Contribute to process-building in a growing, evolving organization. What you bring Undergraduate degree, plus an HR certificate (or equivalent), and one year of general corporate HR experience preferred. Eagerness to learn talent mapping and candidate sourcing techniques — no prior experience in these specific areas required. Comfort using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) in day-to-day work, with a genuine interest in building AI fluency as part of the role. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Professionalism, discretion, and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt quickly to changing needs. Comfort navigating ambiguity and building structure in a growth-stage environment.
