Health and Safety Advisor
We are looking for an occupational health and safety Advisor who will report to the OHS team leader in the Research Center and who'll be tasked with helping us develop and implement best OHS practices. As part of your role, you'll be significantly contributing to the achievement of the organization's OHS objectives. You will have the incredible opportunity to work in a company for which the health and safety of its employees is the priority.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Act as a strategic business partner in OHS within the product development team with a prime focus on electric vehicles development.
- Advise and support teams in developing and establishing OHS best practices.
- Participate in planning safety activities and in the daily implementation of the OHS program.
- Establish efficient work methods that also reduce OHS risks.
- Participate in the definition of vehicle testing methods.
- Collaborate daily with a dynamic team who is continuously pushing the limits.
YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
- Recognized safety-related discipline diploma and 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Good management of priorities and ability to manage tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently in a constantly changing environment.
- Health and safety certificate, an asset.
- Functional French and English, spoken and written. Spanish an asset.
- Technical mechanical or electrical knowledge, an asset.
