THIS POSITION MAINLY CONSISTS OF ...

  • Helping define a robust EV propulsion system architecture taking into account functional safety requirements starting from vehicle operational level.
  • Defining the EV E/E system architecture and breaking it down into items, supporting HARA activities.
  • Guiding the detailed design and testing of hardware and software according to FuSa requirements by Decomposing the product requirements (FSRs & TSRs) into HSRs and SSRs.
  • Carrying out FMEA activities, FTA analysis and other related safety reviews.
  • Working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the relevant subsystems are designed with appropriate requirements.
  • Working closely with product design, quality, and manufacturing engineers, and the production team to ensure that the system supports all critical objectives for BRP.

YOU WERE BORN FOR THIS JOB IF:

  • You have the ability to work in a project start‑up environment with objectives that are in the process of being defined.
  • You are skilled at working in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • You demonstrate strong interest in driving and designing recreational and performance vehicles.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of experience and knowledge in EV propulsion systems and their integration in vehicle level systems.
  • You have experienced multiple full development cycles from prototyping to production and been accountable for the in-service reliability of the systems under your responsibility.
  • You have participated in initial EV systems architecture development and carefully balanced product specifications, process requirements and lead-time limits, while taking into account functional safety requirements.
  • You have a deep understanding of functional safety as per ISO 26262 or IEC 62304.
  • You have hands-on experience of ISO 26262 particularly in parts 2, 3 and 4.
  • You demonstrate proficiency with design process integration and electromechanical / mechatronics systems.
  • You have a very high level of spoken and written English, French being an additional asset.
