What you'll do

  • Identify and implement strategic recruiting channels and methods in supporting franchise business leaders and managers around recruitment. Execute on recruitment strategy by banner
  • Advise, support and coach store managers in various human resource management practices such as defining roles and responsibilities, organizational structure, compensation, performance improvement, conflict resolution, and employee experience
  • Advise on performance management and on the interpretation and application of laws and regulations relevant to the field of labour relations, to support franchise managers
  • Establish the strategy and management of various benefit programs to ensure the administrative follow-up of the group insurance program for franchise stores
  • Actively participate in the implementation, deployment, and communication of the harmonization of HR practices and processes. Act as a change agent for the HR vision of retail stores - franchise
  • Build documentation, manuals, and training aids pertaining to human resources.
  • Stay up to date of new trends in human resources management

What you bring

  • 8 to 10 years of experience minimum, of which at least 5 years is in a senior HR and retail role
  • Undergraduate degree in human resource management, CPHR designation
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of the recruitment processes, benefits, compensation, occupational health, and safety/labour laws
  • Experience in implementing HR strategies and initiatives that promote candidate experience, employee experience, and leadership skills development
  • Mastery of the latest talent acquisition strategies and tools
  • Experience building successful relationships and partnerships at all organizational levels and the ability to influence managers and leaders and provide proactive consultation and solutions
  • Excellent analytic skills and the ability to organize and express ideas clearly
  • Experience in driving and leading change initiatives
