What You’ll Be Doing:
The Compensation Analyst provides subject matter expertise on total rewards programs at Sienna Senior Living Inc. The Compensation Analyst will be responsible to develop, implement, communicate & improve compensation programs, policies & procedures. This includes compensation and incentive programs such as job evaluation, pay equity, salary structure, market survey, year-end merit increase, short- and long-term incentive, equity shares plans. The Compensation Analyst will also ensure compensation programs are cost effective, market competitive and compliant with local labor regulations. This position reports to Manager, Total Rewards.

  • Responsible for re-designing and improving existing compensation programs and policies to ensure that they are internal equitable and market competitive to attract and retain talents.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to business leaders, HR BPs and HR shared service about the Compensation program design and process improvement opportunities.
  • Lead on year-end merit and incentive planning process for people managers, executives, HR BPs and HR shared service team
  • Support the collective bargain agreement (CBA) negotiations with market intelligence and cost analysis
  • Work with HRIS system team to ensure the data integrity and update the salary structure and job grades in HRIS system.
  • Maintain the pay equity across the different communities and labor unions.
  • Support job evaluation and wage negotiation by analyzing market data and modeling labor costs.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with external compensation survey providers.
  • Keep contact with Compensation professionals of peer companies to keep abreast of the best practice in the market and Senior living industry.
  • Provide necessary analysis and reports to Finance for compensation budget planning.
  • Lead continuous improvement process and new compensation initiatives by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration, Finance or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience as Compensation Analyst or in a related role.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (strong abilities in MS Excel) & possess knowledge of statistical analysis and VBA/Python programming.
  • Experience managing large volume of data in a Human Resources Information System and interactions with survey data provider
  • Possess excellent communication, project management skills & problem-solving capabilities.
