At Fueling Brains, we are currently looking to add Montessori Instructional Coaches (Early childhood educator) to our team who will work with teachers in School Districts and Headstart programs to enhance the academic success of their students.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:


1. Implementation of Curriculum and Classroom Support: Assisting teachers with materials, tools, information, to support classroom instruction. Facilitating discussions resulting in the collaborative, reflective, accountable, self-evaluative and participative practices that support the educational processes of all students.

2. Data Coach: A liaison between research and practice and supporting teachers in using data to improve instruction at all levels.

3. Instructional Specialist: Montessori or Reggio-inspired experts collaborating with teachers in designing instruction to meet the needs of all students.

4. Mentor: Focusing on improving teachers' strengths, collaborating and discussing common issues of concern and being a shoulder to bounce off ideas.

5. Catalyst for Change: Motivating teachers and encouraging them to "think out of the box".

6. Role Model: Modeling continuous learning and creating learning communities.


Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ideally 5-7 years of Montessori teaching experience.
  • At least 5-7 years of Early childhood education coaching and mentoring experience is imperative.
  • Montessori certification from a reputable institute
  • At least 7-10 years of preK, 1st and 2nd grade teaching experience is desirable
  • 5-7 years of experience of working in Texas public schools is essential.
  • Knowledge of Texas PreK and state school guidelines is desirable
  • A Bachelor's preferred. However, and a Montessori certificate is a MUST.
  • Excellent knowledge and agile use of technology within email, power point and google applications, file sharing, creating and editing documents, analyzing complex data on brain scores.
  • Adaptable, flexible and able to learn from other team members to create new content for curriculum, professional development, online modules, teacher handbooks, etc.
  • Understand, practice and reflect servant leadership with all stakeholders.
