JOB SUMMARY

The Business and Technical Support Services (BTSS) Branch is responsible for providing strategic, business, technical and other operational support services through a centralized branch for the Finance and Corporate Services Department.

You are responsible for developing, delivering and evaluating end to end operational training programs, for services provided within the Finance and Corporate Services Department, to various departments within the City.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Completion of a 4-year university degree/diploma in education, human resources, business administration or a related field that includes development and delivering courses.

Must have minimum 4 years of relevant experience in training, user experience (UX) design, or course development.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENCES

Certificate in Adult Education or related training & development, coaching/mentoring program is desirable

KNOWLEDGE

  • Strong understanding of user design/UX principles such as usability, accessibility, aesthetics, information architecture, and user research
  • Proficiency in eLearning, instructor-led, and blended training methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Experience working in a government or regulatory environment.
  • Business analysis practices, techniques and report writing
  • Techniques for program design, development, implementation and evaluation
  • Research, surveying, data collection and analyses methodologies
  • Knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation, including the rights and duties of workers

  • Language Requirement: English oral, reading, writing
