Seeking a Head Trainer.
Under the direction of the owner, the head trainer is a leader in the industry, shows initiative, always leads by example, and eagerly embraces 9Round's vision to create the best member experience possible. This is a great position for a candidate looking to be a proponent for growing a dynamic small business backed by the world's largest kickboxing franchise.
9Round delivers total body results in a quick and convenient 30 minute workout with no class times and a trainer with you every step of the way. We are seeking a super energetic and enthusiastic trainer. This is a part time/full time position (approx 30 hours) with sale compensation.
JOB DESCRIPTION & QUALIFICATIONS
At 9Round the Head Trainer will maintain a fun, fast paced, 30 minute circuit cardio kickboxing gym. Sales presentation and phone scripts are vital. This is a very customer service driven position, so we are looking for someone that exudes confidence and whose primary focus is helping others achieve their fitness goals.
- Must have minimum 1-2 years of experience in the fitness industry
- Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
- Must have minimum 1-2 years of sales/customer service experience
- Previous kickboxing experience strongly preferred however not mandatory
- Bilingual preferred but not mandatory
RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following
- Greet, answer questions, sell and register prospective leads
- Provide stellar customer service and keep members motivated throughout workout
- Member retention and engagement via telephone calls and follow ups
- Personalized and engaging lead generation/re-generation and follow up to convert prospects into members
- Maintain excellent customer service with current members, follow up with them to keep them engaged with our 9Round Family, and cultivate member referrals
- Customer service via all forms of communication: in person, phone, email, text, social media, etc.
- Resolve past due memberships
- Create monthly marketing plans with the owner
- Scheduling and reports
- Keep social networks updated regularly posting on Instagram and Facebook
- Ensure the gym is kept clean and all equipment organized and in working order at all times.
- Ensure all Opening & Closing Procedures are completed as scheduled and outlined.
- Develop a scheduled cleaning program and ensure team members carry out tasks in a high quality, timely manner
- Do inventory as needed
