Fernie Alpine Resort is looking to fill the position of Mountain Bike Coach. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, mountain bike coaching certification and will be a team player. You Will:

• Ensure a safe, comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff
• Provide nonstop excellence in guest service
• Instruct, coach and guide guests of all ages, beginner to advanced riders
• Provide lesson ability reports & relevant administration forms as required
• Knowledge and adherence to the Bikers Responsibility Code
• General on hill tasks and maintenance as required
• Acting as ambassadors and hosts at various functions for the resort on and off the hill
• Know and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
• Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
• Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs
• To perform other tasks and duties that are applicable

You Have:

• PMBIA certification (or equivalent) Level 1 minimum requirement
• Mountain bike coaching experience an asset
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Thrives working in a team environment
