Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Recruitment Marketing Specialist to join the Digital Communications Team. Apply today to join our team! As a Recruitment Marketing Specialist with Vancouver Coastal Health you will: Develop, recommend and execute marketing strategies and plans that support Vancouver Coastal Health’s (VCH) Health Human Resources (HHR) strategy and strategic goals. Deliver marketing campaigns, projects, and tactical initiatives that help attract and sustain a skilled, diverse workforce to meet current and future population needs. Maximize VCH’s employer brand positioning and promote VCH as an employer of choice. Combining strategic insight with tactical execution, collaborate with diverse stakeholders to deliver recruitment marketing initiatives, including (but not limited too) advertising, content marketing, creative planning and production coordination for photo and video shoots, event support, and marketing measurement and reporting. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Project Management or related field, and five (5) to seven (7) years’ recent, related experience with marketing, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Knowledge & Abilities Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with diverse stakeholders, build strong relationships, and confidently provide strategic marketing and communications guidance. Strong project manager, with the ability to plan, organize and prioritize work and balance multiple activities concurrently, and in a manner that optimizes departmental effectiveness and contributes to organizational success. Ability to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution, inform decision-making, and maximize marketing impact. Proven expertise in traditional and digital media, including paid media, web, social media, and content marketing, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically. Demonstrates creativity, resourcefulness, and a strong candidate-centric mindset. Strong financial acumen, with experience developing, managing, and reporting on marketing budgets. Exercises considerable judgment, tact and discretion in preparing, disclosing and handling information of a confidential and/or sensitive nature. Competency in a variety of tools such as Canva, Microsoft Teams, Drupal, SharePoint, and email marketing. Ability to utilize a variety of relevant software applications at an advanced level including current word processing, spreadsheets, databases and recruitment software Physical ability to perform the duties of the position. Closing Statement As per Ministry of Health policy, all health care workers working in publicly-funded health care facilities are required to report their past receipt of certain vaccines or history of certain infections. Collecting these records will allow for offering of any missing vaccines, and for appropriate actions to be taken in the event of any future exposure to a communicable disease or during outbreaks.
