SJGHEL is founded on the rich history and legacy of the Sisters of St. Joseph, who built and administered the hospital. With a 55-bed hospital and 3 site locations including the only Ministry funded Long-Term Care beds in our Region, we are the only facility in this 3.5-hour corridor that provides: - Obstetrical Services - Intensive Care - Surgical Services - Specialist Clinics - Addictions Treatment Services (The Oaks Centre's 68 beds provide services for the entire province of Ontario and parts of Quebec) - CT Scanning - Dialysis Services - Inpatient/Outpatient Diabetes Education and Care. We also provide the largest Satellite Oncology Program with over 500 visits annually.
