We’re looking for an enthusiastic Recruitment Coordinator to create an exceptional experience for our Skilled Trades and Bulk Operations divisions. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face (and voice!) behind the onboarding process—guiding candidates through every step, making sure they feel supported, and ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish.

You’ll also have the chance to expand your expertise and cross-train with other regions, making this a role full of learning, growth, and connection.

Location: Dartmouth, NS

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 4:30pm

Job Type: Term | 14 month-contract

Your Day-to-Day Impact

Lead the onboarding process for Mechanics and Rail Yard Transload Operators across the organization. Send new hire packets, coordinate pre-employment testing, and keep everything on track. Guide candidates through a seamless, stress-free onboarding experience. Partner with multiple teams to ensure smooth handoffs and compliance. Track progress and manage onboarding status in the ATS.

What We’re Looking For

Experience That Shines – 2+ years in onboarding, recruiting coordination, or HR admin (bonus if you’ve worked in transportation/logistics!). Tech-Savvy & Organized – Comfortable managing ATS workflows and juggling multiple priorities. Great Communicator – Professional, clear, and approachable with candidates and internal teams. Detail-Oriented – You never miss a step and thrive under deadlines. Language Skills – Bilingual in English/French is a plus Flexibility: Ability to support other regions when needed; occasional extended hours during busy times.
