We are looking for a proactive, curious and charismatic candidate who has a solid foundation of facilitation or management consulting skills and experience. You have excellent people skills and the ability to inspire positive change in others. You are a lifelong learner who can ask the right questions, embrace the complexity of organizations and blend theory with practical action in a seamless way. You are also well organized and are able to work independently across all levels of the organization.
As an internal consultant on the Organizational Development Branch team, you will support a healthy and effective public service by working with client groups across the Yukon government. No two days are ever the same – every consultation uncovers new and complex patterns for you to help the clients shift. You will manage internal consultations from beginning to end, including client intake, understanding context and underlying issues, defining contracts, collecting and analyzing data, and planning and implementing interventions. Your scope of work could include change management, leadership development, team dynamics, strategic planning, process improvement, service design, developmental evaluation and facilitating training. You will do this by working with managers and senior leaders as a change agent and cultural driver. You will design and deliver compelling team facilitations and group workshops and you will also support corporate organizational development initiatives and projects as needed. You may also participate in and deliver training to a broad scope of public servants.

Post-secondary education in organizational development, organizational leadership, adult education, public administration, or a related field. Experience leading or supporting organizational development, change management, workforce planning, or organizational effectiveness initiatives. Experience providing strategic advice, consultation, coaching, or facilitation to leaders, managers, teams, or client groups. Experience designing, developing, delivering, or evaluating adult learning, training, or leadership development programs. Experience collecting and using qualitative or quantitative information to support evaluation, continuous improvement, or organizational development work.
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
