Job Description
Our Role:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, hands-on people professional to support the Manager P&C and lead the day to day operations of the P&C team in the newly created role of People, Culture and Safety Coordinator. In this role you will responsible for providing advice and support to line managers and coordinating recruitment and selection processes, performance management processes, WHS compliance and overseeing L&D program delivery. You will work both with line managers and the P&C team to deliver effective strategies that foster a positive workplace culture and support organisational goals.

What You Will Bring
Our ideal candidate will have:
Tertiary HR qualifications (or substantial experience in a similar role - at least 5 years) Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team to deliver organisational objectives Knowledge of current state and federal employment legislation and industrial instruments and an ability to interpret them Ability and experience managing employee issues Excellent communication and relationship building skills A positive, proactive and continuous improvement mindset and Ideally, previous experience in Local Government and Post Graduate qualifications

$98,303 - $114,730 base salary per annum depending on experience and skills In addition to base salary there are generous allowances ($11,663 pa Broome Location Allowance (Rental Assistance) or more for Mortgage Assistance ($18,865) in addition to generous employer matched superannuation benefits.
