Description
Canadian Industries Limited is growing, and our HR technology needs to grow with us. We’re looking for an HRIS Specialist who lives and breathes UKG — across both UKG Pro and UKG Pro Workforce Management (Dimensions) and wants to be the person who turns our systems into a real competitive advantage. This isn’t a maintenance seat. It’s a build-and-improve role for someone who moves quickly, asks “why are we doing it this way,” and isn’t satisfied until the process is better than they found it.
If you want a high-trust, high-energy environment where your work visibly moves the business forward, keep reading.
This is a hybrid position located in either Boucherville, QC or Vaughan, ON.
What You’ll Do
Administer, configure, and optimize both UKG Pro (HCM, core HR, payroll) and UKG Pro WFM / Dimensions (time, attendance, scheduling, accruals) — including business rules, workflows, pay rules, and security roles for our Canadian Business. Own the integration and data flow between Pro and WFM so the two systems stay in sync and the business can trust every number. Build and maintain reports and dashboards (BI / People Analytics) that give leaders the data they need to make faster, smarter decisions. Own data integrity — audits, validations, and clean-up — across both platforms. Lead and support system updates, releases, and new module rollouts, including testing and change management. Troubleshoot issues, manage integrations with other systems (benefits, ATS, Finance / ERP), and serve as the go-to expert for end users. Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and Finance to translate business needs into smart system solutions. Document configurations and processes and train users to get the most out of both platforms.
What You Bring
2–4+ years of hands-on HRIS experience with UKG Pro and UKG Pro WFM / Dimensions (experience administering both is strongly preferred). Hands-on experience with configuration, reporting / BI tools, and integrations between the two platforms. Strong understanding of HR, payroll, and time & attendance processes — including how pay rules, accruals, and scheduling in WFM feed payroll in Pro. Bonus for Canadian payroll / legislation familiarity. Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data. Excellent communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical people. Bilingualism (French / English- if located in Quebec)
Who You Are
You bring urgency. You prioritize well, move with purpose, and don’t let things sit. You’re genuinely curious. You like figuring out how things work, you keep learning, and you stay current on UKG capabilities and best practices. You want to play at a higher level. You’re motivated by a strong, ambitious environment and want your work to take the business to the next stage.
Why Canadian Industries Limited (CIL)
A team that’s serious about its work and supports each other. Competitive salary Growth path / learning budget / certification support. Flexibility / hybrid model.

Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada without employment-based visa sponsorship (now or in the future). This includes WP, LMIA, TFWP, IMP, PGWP, CUSMA, GTS, OWP, BOWP, SOWP or any other employment-based visas).
