This Is Not a Traditional HR Role We're not looking for someone whose primary focus is policies and paperwork.

As Director of Human Resources, you will be a member of the leadership team and a trusted advisor to leaders across the organization. You will work directly with the COO to help shape the future of FundyPros.

What You'll Own

Build Great Teams Ensure FundyPros has the talent needed to execute its strategy and support continued growth Strengthen our reputation as an employer of choice Build strong talent pipelines and succession plans for key roles Lead workforce planning and recruitment strategies across the business

Raise the Level of Leadership Develop supervisors, project managers, and leaders who lead with clarity, accountability, and respect Strengthen leadership capability throughout the organization Support leaders through coaching, feedback, and difficult conversations Help create an environment where people can do the best work of their careers

Build a High-Performance Culture Reinforce the values that define FundyPros: Our Job Isn't Done Until It's Done Respect and Listen Do the Right Thing Facts and Data We Serve Each Other Help create a culture where people know what is expected and are held accountable to those expectations Foster trust, teamwork, and honest communication throughout the organization Ensure high performance and genuine care for people exist together

Be a Strategic Partner Advise leaders on organizational, talent, and people-related decisions Use data and metrics to improve decision making Ensure compensation, benefits, and HR systems support the long-term success of the business Maintain sound HR practices and ensure compliance with employment legislation and immigration programs Continuously improve the systems and processes that support our people and our business

Lead the HR Function You will provide leadership and direction to: HR Generalist Talent Acquisition Specialist Health and Safety while partnering with leaders across the organization to ensure our people strategy supports our business strategy.

Experience

We're less concerned with titles and more interested in leadership, judgment, and the ability to build great teams.

Ideally, you'll bring:

10+ years of progressive HR experience Experience leading and developing people Strong business acumen and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization Experience in construction, trades, manufacturing, or a similar environment is considered an asset CPHR designation is valued but not required
