Advisory Council Member — Lived Experience and Disability Inclusion

To express your interest in joining Enabled Talent’s Lived Experience Advisory Council, please email aman@enabledtalent.com with a brief introduction and the perspective you would like to contribute.

About Enabled Talent

Enabled Talent is a global inclusion technology company building accessible digital solutions that connect people with disabilities and underserved communities to education, employment and full participation in everyday life.

Our Talent Passport helps individuals communicate their skills, accessibility needs, preferred supports and employment goals. It also helps universities, employment-service providers, nonprofits and employers deliver more coordinated and inclusive support.

Purpose of the Advisory Council

Enabled Talent is establishing a five-member Lived Experience Advisory Council to ensure that its technology, partnerships, policies and services are informed by people with disabilities.

The Council will help Enabled Talent identify barriers, improve accessibility and develop solutions that respond to real experiences across education, employment and everyday digital participation. Council members provide advice based on their personal experience, professional knowledge and community connections. No member will be expected to speak for or represent an entire disability community.

Perspectives We Hope to Include

We are seeking five advisors who collectively bring a range of experiences, which may include:

Physical disabilities, mobility disabilities or chronic pain Blindness, low vision, Deafblindness or other sensory disabilities Deaf, hard-of-hearing, communication-disability or AAC perspectives Neurodivergence, learning, intellectual or developmental disabilities Mental-health, episodic, chronic-health or other non-apparent disabilities

These categories are not restrictive. We recognize that disability experiences overlap and are shaped by factors such as race, gender, age, culture, language, geography, Indigenous identity and socioeconomic circumstances.

Responsibilities Advisory Council members will: Review selected Enabled Talent products, features and service concepts Identify accessibility barriers and unintended consequences Advise on the Talent Passport and education-to-employment journey Provide input on responsible and inclusive uses of artificial intelligence Review language, communications and engagement practices Recommend approaches for working with universities, nonprofits, employers and communities Participate in structured discussions about emerging accessibility priorities Help Enabled Talent understand where its solutions may not reflect lived realities Provide feedback on how progress and impact should be measured

Recommendations are advisory and non-binding. Final operational, financial and governance decisions remain with Enabled Talent’s management and legal Board of Directors.
