Job Title: HR Assistant – Northern Staffing Location: Cornwall, Ontario or Winnipeg, Manitoba Work Environment: Hybrid
The HR Assistant works in a hybrid capacity from our Cornwall office/ Winnipeg office (3 days in office and 2 days from home) completing day-to-day HR administrative tasks and activities, collaborating with various business groups within the branch on relevant business initiatives.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

Manage and maintain employee HR files, ensuring all required documentation, professional credentials, and related materials are accurate, complete, and up to date while upholding strict confidentiality and discretion.

Maintain confidential human resources records and prepare Letters of Offer and other HR correspondence as required.

Track and update employee information within the UKG database system.

Maintain past employee HR files in collaboration with the designated supervisor or manager.

Triage payroll and benefits inquiries and assist employees with completing required forms.

Support Clinical Managers with administrative tasks and responsibilities.

Assist in preparing materials for presentations to current and prospective clients.
-
Perform other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum - Secondary School Diploma
- A minimum of 1-2 years previous experience in Human Resources
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office applications, including TEAMS, word, excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- This role requires attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple requests.
- Strong time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
- Exceptional customer relations and teamwork skills
Salary Range: $44,000- $47,000/annually
