About the role
Are you the first person people turn to when they need the right words or the right approach? Our client, a fast-growing Quebec-based company specializing in software integration solutions, is looking for a Human Resources Consultant to support managers and employees across the organization.
You will act as a trusted HR resource, overseeing employee onboarding and integration, supporting employees throughout their journey, and managing various HR processes and internal files. This role is ideal for someone passionate about advising others and sharing expertise, who wants to help evolve HR practices and actively contribute to strengthening the company culture from within. This is a part-time position, two days per week, offering highly competitive market benefits.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing recruitment, interviews, and onboarding for new employees.
- Advising and supporting managers on team management and employee relations matters.
- Ensuring compliance with HR practices, internal policies, and employment legislation.
- Coordinating the performance review process and following up with employees.
- Actively contributing to the development and maintenance of the company culture.
- Planning and coordinating training and professional development initiatives.
- Supporting initiatives aimed at improving employee experience and team engagement.
- Managing disability files and coordinating follow-ups with group insurance providers.
- Acting as the main point of contact for immigration and work permit files.
- Working closely with payroll regarding vacation tracking and employee file management.

Requirements:
- College diploma or university degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar HR role or in management support.
- Membership with the CRHA / CRIA Order is considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of technology tools and HR systems (HR platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.).
- Excellent teamwork and employee engagement skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong interest in coaching and knowledge sharing.
Salary: Starting at $27/hour.
Schedule: Flexible part-time schedule, 2 days per week.
Status: Permanent.
