Job Title: Training Administrator/Coordinator III - Marketing Location: Grimsby Ontario CAN L3M 4H5 Duration: 24+ Months on W2 20 - 30 hours/week (roughly 5 - 6 hours per day) Bilingual English & French is preferred Virtual studio tech support responsibilities in addition to regular administrative tasks 20 - 30 hours/week (roughly 5 - 6 hours per day) Position Summary As the Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supporting the delivery of training programs that build student capability, improve the customer experience, and support business goals. You’ll work closely with managers, instructors, subject matter experts, employees, and industry partners to organize training activities, maintain accurate records, communicate schedules, and ensure a positive learning experience for participants. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate registration, logistics, and communications for training courses, college partnerships, and other learning events. • Collaborate with the Training Centre team to handle scheduling activities and provide administrative support across Canadian training centres. • Provide technical support for virtual training studios and online learning environments. • Partner with leaders, instructors, and industry partners to identify and support training needs, ensuring programs align with business and operational priorities. • Monitor course enrollment, attendance, cancellations, waitlists, and capacity to optimize instructor utilization, facility usage, and training resources. • Assist in preparing reports on training activity, completion rates, program effectiveness, and other key performance indicators. • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps, recommending enhancements, and helping standardize training coordination practices across the organization. Required Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business administration, human resources, education, training, or a related field is preferred. • Bilingual (English and French) with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with employees, leaders, instructors, and external partners. • Previous experience in training coordination, administration, scheduling, customer service, education, operations, or a related support role. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, schedules, and stakeholder requests. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Copilot. Preferred Qualifications • Experience working with a learning management system, registration platform, or employee training database. • Experience supporting technical training, instructor-led training, virtual training, onboarding, or dealer/customer-facing learning programs. • Knowledge of training evaluation methods, adult learning principles, or learning and development best practices. • Experience coordinating events, workshops, classrooms, labs, or hands-on training environments. • Proven ability to use innovation to improve processes. Work Environment You will work in an office, training center, or classroom environment to support both in-person and virtual training programs. Occasional travel or flexible scheduling may be required depending on course timing, business needs, or training location.
