Senior Staffing Manager - Healthcare & Life Sciences In Canada - Toronto

We are currently seeking a Senior Staffing Manager to provide staffing support and execution to Simon-Kucher’s Healthcare & Life Sciences consulting team. As the Senior Staffing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the strategic deployment of internal talent to effectively meet the dynamic needs of our clients within the global Healthcare & Life Sciences division. How you will create an impact: Core Responsibilities Receive staffing requests from Partners in the Global Healthcare & Life Sciences Division and collaborate with the Global LS Staffing Team to fulfill requests promptly. Adhere to division’s staffing principles but propose creative solutions as necessary to achieve best and pragmatic staffing solutions. Anticipate and address skills shortages, excess capacity and supply/demand imbalances before there is a negative impact on the business. Address and resolve staffing challenges, including reallocation and redeployment of consultants as needed, with a creative approach. Optimize resource allocation in cooperation with the Global LS staffing team to ensure efficient use of talent and meet project deadlines. Embrace the ebb and flow of talent through our pipeline programs (summer internships, CoOps and PhDs) from a staffing perspective and assist with those programs’ activities. Assists with HR administrative tasks supporting the Healthcare & Life Science practice within the areas of career and performance management, coaching and skills development, competency development, manpower planning/budgeting, employee engagement, employee relations, and DE&I. Assist with reporting on all metrics related to people productivity and utilization including current and forecasted chargeability (supply/demand). Establish and maintain updated skills profiles on all consultants in the pool. Support tracking skill development requests from staff and monitor training needs across the division. Understand short- and long-term business expansion plans and build them into the supply plans for the resource pools. Assists with key people change initiatives that drive the advancement of Simon-Kucher’s HR strategy aimed at driving a high-performing and highly engaged culture. Understand linkages between consulting engagement staffing, the required learning and development program and performance management to help make insightful recommendations on areas for improvement. Engages with day-to-day support and issue resolution of staffing matters related to policies and business processes, HR data, employee relations, career and performance management, learning and skill development, etc.; Identifies new approaches and process improvements to existing or non-existing business processes, policies, and/or procedures. Uses data to provide insights, advice, and to support informed decision making. Can analyze historical staffing data and project performance metrics to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization. Shows strong social skills and can build strong stakeholder relationships and partnerships across a global team environment. About You: Experience Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred. 3-5 years of experience in work staffing, scheduling, resource planning and/or project management. Demonstrates strong technical skills with the ability to quickly adapt to new platforms. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Possess a strong client service and problem-solving orientation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possesses strong accuracy and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task effectively, meet deadlines, and perform well under pressure. The pay range for this position in Toronto is $80K – 90K/yr. Compensation may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs.
