The Role:

The Administrative Assistant provides day-to-day administrative support to both the office operations and the Human Resources department, contributing to the efficient functioning of the companies. This role supports HR processes, including employee records and benefits administration, while also managing general office administrative duties. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day HR administrative support across multiple companies 
  • Maintain employee files and prepare employment-related documentation 
  • Assist with benefits administration and attendance tracking 
  • Maintain training, certification, and compliance records 
  • Support onboarding, internal communications, and HR initiatives/events 
  • Assist with recruitment activities as needed (postings, screening, scheduling) 
  • Coordinate office supplies, employee materials, and branded items 
  • Maintain HR trackers and reports 
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HR procedures 
  • Provide general administrative support as required

What You Bring

  • Minimum 1 year of administrative or HR support experience preferred

  • Post secondary education in Business Administration, or related field is considered an asset

  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an asset

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

  • Customer service oriented with a professional and approachable demeanor
