About the role

As Practice Leader, Reputational Risk, Culture, you’re responsible for defining, overseeing and updating risk management practices in line with the value chain, strategic directions and regulatory requirements. You serve as the first link in the value chain for your risk areas by structuring practices, monitoring emerging issues and supporting teams by managing sensitive situations. You draw on your ability to provide sound judgment, cross-sector coordination and strategic positioning on files with a very high degree of operational and conceptual complexity. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Act as an expert on complex issues requiring an overall reading of risks and their impacts.
  • Define and lead the risk appetite framework for reputational risk, talent and culture, including indicators and monitoring mechanisms.
  • Establish and maintain the monitoring plan to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor, analyze and simulate activities to anticipate emerging risks and evolving practice-related needs.
  • Develop, document and update policies, standards, frameworks and operational practices for your line of work.
  • Lead cross-sector squads and governing bodies that bring together different areas of expertise to ensure alignment between the strategic vision and operational reality.
  • Represent the department before internal committees, including governing bodies made up of senior managers.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, industrial relations, administration, law, risk management, organizational psychology or a related field
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: organizational communications management, brand management, talent management, including five years of demonstrated risk management experience (like identifying, assessing and monitoring risks, developing frameworks, policies, indicators or monitoring plans, or supporting managers or senior managers in high-risk situations)
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Significant experience in strategic advisory roles with departments or decision-making bodies
  • Experience in complex, matrix environments that are highly regulated or have media exposure, and that require extensive cross-sector coordination
  • Knowledge of French is required
