About the job
Our team is currently recruiting to fill 2 Lead, Organization Effectiveness roles to support the following 2 streams:
Mental Health and Wellness (1 position)
Committed to fostering a diverse and equitable healthy workplace by owning the end-to end management, developing, supporting, and implementing initiatives that prioritize employee mental health and wellness. Responsibilities include:

Developing, coordinating, facilitating and/or procuring webinars and presentations on a variety of mental health and wellness topics

Strategizing and launching tangible and practical health and wellness tools, strategies and supports for employees.

Supporting continued leadership development on facilitating a psychologically safe workplace.
-
Participating in the development of communication strategies to inform and educate employees on mental health and wellness issues.

Identify key insights and trends; and make recommendations to inform program development by conducting industry research to identify gaps and opportunities.

Managing relationships with both external and internal divisional and ministry partners to ensure the alignment of the division's Inclusion and Wellness priorities.
Diversity, Inclusion and Anti-racism (1 position)
Committed to playing a crucial role by owning the end-to end management, developing, supporting, and implementing initiatives that advance the division's diversity and inclusion strategy to embed best practices into our organizational behaviors. Responsibilities include:
- Developing, coordinating, facilitating and/or procuring webinars and presentations on a variety of diversity and inclusion topics
- Delivery and implementation of programs and initiatives that promote education, awareness and contributing to a more diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Leading the delivery and implementation of programs and initiatives that further our DEI strategy, focusing on education, awareness.
- Supporting continued leadership development on facilitating a psychologically safe workplace.
- Identify key insights and trends; and make recommendations to inform program development by conducting industry research to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Managing relationships with both external and internal divisional and ministry partners to ensure the alignment of the division's Inclusion and Wellness priorities.
What you bring to the team
Strategic Leadership and Project Management Skills:
you have:
-
strategic planning skills to effectively translate organizational priorities into integrated strategies and develop implementation and evaluation plans, resources and tools for action
-
demonstrated ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and/or working groups of professional staff who are not direct reports
you can:
- lead interdisciplinary or teams and/or working groups through all phases of project management (e.g. scope, timeframes, milestones, deliverables, planning, resourcing, guiding staff) from initial concept through to implementation and adoption
- manage and lead complex, large-scale concurrent projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- develop actionable and targeted change management plans that include communication, training, coaching, sponsorship and/or other resistance management activities
- work with senior executives and colleagues across the ministry and provide guidance and support to divisional management on operational priorities and strategic directions of the division
Technical Skills:
you have:
- knowledge and/or relevant experience in Organizational Development, Organizational Behaviour, Social Work, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, People Change Management, Adult Education or related discipline
- knowledge of organizational development to develop strategic solutions while staying informed of principles, trends, and decision-making/approval processes
- strong understanding of theories and practices related to organizational development and performance consulting
Communication Skills:
you have:
- written and verbal communication skills and can present complex issues to senior management, developing effective briefing materials, reports and presentations
- presentation and persuasion skills to brief and advise senior executives on critical program business and financial performance and recommend strategies
- collaboration and negotiation skills to obtain comprehensive understanding of business challenges and opportunities, current and emerging trends
Research, Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving Skills:
you have:
- research, analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills to deconstruct complex issues and develop strategic assessments
- knowledge of analytical concepts and techniques to conduct data analysis and derive strategic insights
- ability to identify trends, options, potential risks and develop mitigating strategies to ensure alignment and effectiveness within the division
