Position Summary: The Senior Talent Development Associate supports the design, delivery, and administration of training and development programs across HCCA. This role focuses on facilitating onboarding, soft skills, and corporate training initiatives; maintaining training materials and systems; and ensuring accurate documentation and recordkeeping. The Senior Associate partners closely with the Manager, Talent Development to drive employee growth and uphold learning standards that strengthen workforce capability, engagement, and organizational effectiveness. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Training Delivery & Coordination Facilitate onboarding training, soft skills training and legislatively required training to HCCA staff using multiple delivery methods for successful knowledge and skills transfer. Delivery includes planning, preparing and coordinating of training programs. Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, participant communication, and materials preparation. Analyze training metrics and learner feedback to recommend improvements to content, delivery methods, and engagement strategies. Research and propose innovative learning technologies or methods (e.g., blended learning, e-learning, etc.) to enhance engagement and learning outcomes.
- Career Development Support Partner with subject matter experts and department leaders to design and enhance internal training programs that address company-specific processes, systems, and performance needs. Collaborate with leaders to identify capability gaps and align learning initiatives with business objectives and workforce priorities. Update and refine internal training content to reflect evolving business requirements, policy updates, and best practices. Coordinate and track Career Development Program activities, monitor participant progress, and maintain regular communication with leaders. Promote a culture of continuous learning by encouraging knowledge sharing and professional development across teams.
- Training Content Maintenance Develop, edit, and maintain engaging training materials, including e-learning modules, presentation decks, facilitator guides, and participant resources. Ensure all materials are accurate, consistent with HCCA’s standards, and compliant with corporate and legislative requirements. Support the measurement of learning impact through post-training assessments, feedback analytics, and performance metrics.
- Learning Systems Admin & Reporting Administer the LMS to ensure data integrity, accurate course tracking, and timely reporting. Monitor employee learning completion and follow up on outstanding training requirements to maintain compliance. Prepare reports and dashboards summarizing training metrics and trends for review by the Manager and leadership. Identify opportunities to improve LMS processes and user experience through automation or system enhancements.
- All other duties as assigned.
Work Experience: 3-5 years of experience in training delivery, learning coordination, or related learning & development support roles Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word required Experience in public speaking, group facilitation, or classroom instruction preferred Exposure to finance or auto finance environments preferred Experience supporting blended or eLearning programs a plus Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in training, teaching or related field preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong communication skills (verbal, presentation, listening and written) with all levels in the organization Exceptional training delivery skills Ability to work effectively with many different groups as well as independently Competency with classroom management Demonstrated learning agility [Location Update] Effective June 2027, Hyundai Capital Canada’s head office will be relocated from downtown Toronto to the Airport Corporate Centre in Mississauga.
