About the role

Stacey Danley at Aplin is partnering with a growing, innovative organization to recruit a Human Resources Generalist. Based out of the Winnipeg head office, this is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative HR team supporting a dynamic business with operations across North America.

Reporting to the HR team, you'll play a key role in recruitment, employee experience, HR systems, reporting, and compliance. This full-time, permanent position is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys variety, continuous improvement, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition & Employee Experience Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding. Maintain job descriptions and interview guides. Support employee engagement initiatives, team events, and offboarding activities. HR Operations & Systems Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS and SharePoint. Ensure HRIS and payroll data remain accurate and aligned. Prepare HR reports, metrics, presentations, and training materials. Analyze employee survey results and support continuous improvement initiatives. Compliance Monitor employment legislation and support compliance across Canadian and U.S. jurisdictions. Assist with policy development, updates, and implementation. Coordinate mandatory compliance training and maintain training records. Support leave administration, WCB claims, and other employee documentation. Qualifications: Certificate or diploma in Human Resources or a related field. 2–3 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar role. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices. Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
