Our Opportunity
We are looking for an organized and service oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR team. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, this role plays a key part in supporting employees and leaders throughout the employee lifecycle while ensuring the efficient delivery of HR programs, processes, and services.

A Day in the Life
As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will:
- Coordinate employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, transfers, promotions, leaves of absence, compensation changes, and terminations
- Prepare and administer employment-related documentation such as offer letters, employment agreements, compensation adjustment letters, employment verification requests, leave documentation, and employee correspondence
- Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files while ensuring compliance with company policies and legislative requirements
- Administer and maintain HR systems, including employee records, reporting, and data integrity
- Support new hire onboarding and employee offboarding activities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee and leader inquiries through the HR Helpdesk
- Assist with the administration of HR programs, including disability management, work permit tracking, employee referral programs, and compliance-related initiatives
- Support annual compensation reviews and performance development processes
- Generate HR reports and workforce data to support business operations and decision-making
- Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the employee experience and operational efficiency
What You'll Bring to the Team
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- CPHR designation or progress toward designation is considered an asset
- 3-5 years of experience in an HR administration, HR coordination, or HR operations role
- Strong understanding of HR processes, employment legislation, and HR best practices
- Experience working with HRIS, ATS, and workforce management systems
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience supporting HR functions within an engineering, consulting, construction, or project-based organization is considered an asset
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
