About the role

Extendicare is looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner who is passionate about engaging emerging talent and building strong recruitment partnerships across our organization. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, you will lead our campus and co‑op recruitment strategy while also supporting full‑cycle hiring for a variety of corporate roles.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑paced environments, enjoys relationship‑building, and brings creativity to sourcing and employer branding, especially within early‑talent markets.

This position will be based at our office in Markham Ontario. Extendicare offers a hybrid working environment.

What you’ll do

Lead Extendicare’s campus and co‑op recruitment strategy, ensuring a strong pipeline of students and early‑career talent. Build and maintain partnerships with colleges, universities, and student organizations. Plan and execute campus events, information sessions, career fairs, and high‑volume student hiring cycles. Strengthen Extendicare’s brand presence across early‑talent markets through outreach, events, and digital engagement. Manage full‑cycle recruitment for corporate roles, from intake to offer. Partner with hiring leaders to refine job descriptions, clarify role requirements, and develop structured interview and assessment plans. Align recruitment activity with headcount plans and hiring priorities, ensuring clear communication on search strategy and pipeline health. Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data in Workday ATS. Support and lead projects that enhance Extendicare’s recruitment strategy and overall candidate experience.

What you bring

3+ years of talent acquisition experience, ideally in healthcare, retail, hospitality, or other high‑volume environments. Hands‑on experience in campus or co‑op recruitment, including event coordination, school partnerships, and student hiring programs. Strong relationship‑building skills with internal stakeholders and external partners. A track record of implementing innovative sourcing and recruitment approaches. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint). Experience with Workday is an asset. Post‑secondary degree or diploma (Human Resources, Business, or related).
