About The Opportunity
Working with one of Ottawa’s prestigious national associations, LRO Staffing is collaborating in the hire of a Senior Advisor, People & Culture. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this position is focused on employee engagement, corporate culture and recruitment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive impact through operational HR guidance, leadership of committees and corporate culture initiatives.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Provide leadership and guidance through the recruitment process; through participation and influence grounded in the guiding principles of the corporate culture Provide guidance to managers and employees on policies and practices to support consistent, effective people management Lead working groups who inform the HR function Play in instrumental part in HR operations, from program execution to record keeping HRIS maintenance
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
Post secondary education in Human Resources or related field with an HR designation being considered an asset Over five years of relevant HR experience including experience in Recruitment, Employee Relations, HR Programs and Performance Management Experience supporting HR committees and driving engagement and outcomes Knowledge of the Employment Standards Act together with HR best-practices
About the Job
This position is a full time/permanent position offering an annual salary of $90,000 to $110,000 with a comprehensive benefits package. They are conveniently located downtown and offer a hybrid work arrangement that will see most employees in office twice weekly with occasional exceptions.
