What You’ll Be Doing: The Total Rewards Analyst provides analytical and operational support for the administration and continuous improvement of Sienna's compensation and benefits programs. The role supports compensation initiatives, annual compensation reviews, job evaluation activities, market benchmarking, benefits administration, and reporting. Through data analysis, market research, and process support, the Analyst helps ensure total rewards programs remain competitive, equitable, and aligned with organizational objectives.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Total Rewards, the incumbent conducts compensation and benefits analyses, maintains data integrity, supports program administration, and provides insights to inform total rewards decisions.
Compensation Program Support
- Support the administration and maintenance of compensation programs, policies, and processes, including base pay, incentive programs, and other Sienna reward programs.
- Conduct compensation analyses and prepare reports to support pay decisions and program effectiveness reviews.
- Analyze compensation outcomes, including pay distribution, salary positioning, incentive payouts, and internal equity trends.
- Utilize HR systems, spreadsheets, and business intelligence tools to extract, validate, and analyze compensation data.
- Assist in the preparation of compensation-related communications, guidelines, and educational materials for managers and employees.
- Support audits and data validation activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data integrity across compensation programs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of compensation administration tools and workflows.
Annual Compensation Review Process
- Support the planning, execution, and administration of annual compensation review activities, including merit increases, incentive payouts, and salary structure updates.
- Coordinate data collection, validation, and reconciliation activities throughout the annual compensation cycle.
- Prepare standard and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and analyses to support compensation review discussions and decision-making.
- Assist in maintaining and testing compensation planning systems and technology platforms.
- Perform quality assurance reviews and audit checks to ensure compensation recommendations are accurate, complete, and aligned with established guidelines.
- Monitor timelines, track completion of key milestones, and support stakeholders throughout the compensation review process.
Job Evaluation Program
- Support the administration and maintenance of the organization's job evaluation and job architecture framework.
- Assist in the review and analysis of job descriptions to ensure appropriate classification, consistency, and alignment with organizational standards.
- Participate in job evaluation activities by gathering relevant job information, conducting preliminary assessments, and preparing documentation for review.
- Maintain job evaluation records, job catalogues, grading structures, and related documentation.
- Conduct analysis of internal job relationships and organizational structures to support equitable and consistent job evaluation outcomes.
Market Survey and Market Practice Research
- Participate in compensation and benefits surveys and ensure accurate submission of organizational data.
- Conduct market benchmarking analyses using compensation survey data and external market information.
- Prepare market intelligence reports, presentations, and recommendations to support Total Rewards decision-making.
- Assist in evaluating external labor market trends and their potential impact on compensation and benefits programs.

- Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollment activities, eligibility changes, employee records updates, and related transactions.
- Assist employees and managers with inquiries regarding benefit plans, coverage provisions, enrollment processes, and program administration.
- Maintain accurate employee benefits records and ensure data integrity across HR and benefits systems.
- Assist in the preparation of benefits communications, employee education materials, and program updates.
- Support benefits reporting, audits, utilization and cost analyses and assist with benchmarking activities to support program reviews.
- Research market practices and emerging trends in employee benefits and wellness programs.
Who you are:
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Total Rewards, Compensation, Benefits, Human Resources, Finance, or related analytical role.
- Working knowledge of compensation administration, job evaluation, benefits administration, or HR programs.
