About the role
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our client's team. This role will be responsible for managing the full-cycle payroll process for a workforce of under 300 employees, including both hourly and salaried staff.
Key Responsibilities Process full-cycle payroll for hourly and salaried employees on a regular basis Prepare and submit Records of Employment (ROEs) Complete payroll journal entries and ensure accurate reporting to accounting Remit source deductions and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements Perform year-end payroll activities, including: T4 and T4A preparation RL1 preparation Payroll reconciliations Support the annual payroll audit process Identify opportunities to enhance and streamline payroll processes Ensure payroll practices remain compliant with applicable legislation and internal policies
Qualifications & Experience Minimum 2–3 years of full-cycle payroll experience Experience processing payroll for both hourly and salaried employees Dayforce experience is highly preferred PCP certification (or in progress) is strongly desired Strong accounting knowledge or background
Skills & Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High level of attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively
