About the Role We are looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support a Human Resources team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a long-term, permanent position and who enjoys providing administrative support, maintaining accurate records, and working in a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives. Maintain organized filing systems and accurate records. Complete data entry and process documentation. Track and schedule employee training, including First Aid and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG). Assist with health and safety compliance tracking, including inspection reports and first aid supplies. Communicate and follow up with employees and supervisors regarding outstanding documentation and tasks. Assist with meeting note-taking and general administrative duties. Support facility management activities as required. Communicate effectively with office staff, suppliers, and management. Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the HR team.
Qualifications & Skills Minimum 1 year of administrative assistant experience. Diploma or certification in Office Administration is preferred. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with data entry, web navigation, online databases, and web-based training platforms. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time management and prioritization skills. Basic mathematical skills and understanding of basic units of measure. Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of employees and stakeholders.
