Your Mission Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the HR Coordinator plays an important role in supporting a high-performing People & Culture team that is focused on creating exceptional employee experiences while enabling the organization's continued growth.
This role provides broad exposure across the HR function, with a strong focus on recruitment coordination, HR systems administration, employee onboarding, benefits administration, payroll coordination, and employee engagement initiatives. As a trusted member of the team, you'll help ensure our people processes are efficient, compliant, and scalable while contributing to a positive, values-driven culture.

Your Day-to-Day Adventures Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Coordinate full-cycle recruitment activities for a variety of roles across the organization. Support the creation and posting of job descriptions across multiple recruitment channels. Review applications, conduct initial candidate screenings, and proactively source talent through platforms such as LinkedIn. Lead all intern and co-op recruitment activities, including building relationships with educational institutions, coordinating interviews, and supporting student onboarding. HR Administration & Systems Maintain employee records and ensure accurate employee data within our Human Capital Management System (currently HiBob). Process employee lifecycle changes, including new hires, promotions, transfers, and departures. Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries. Maintain organized and compliant employee files and HR documentation. Payroll & Compliance Partner with third-party payroll providers to ensure timely and accurate employee updates. Coordinate and prepare bi-weekly payroll submissions and related documentation. Serve as a key contact for annual financial audit activities and HR-related reporting requirements. Employee Experience & Culture Coordinate onboarding and orientation activities that help new employees feel welcomed, informed, and set up for success. Assist with employee recognition programs that celebrate accomplishments and reinforce our values. Partner with HR and Marketing teams to support engagement initiatives, social events, and team-building activities. Contribute to People & Culture projects and strategic initiatives throughout the year.
Who You Are We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about creating positive employee experiences. You enjoy working across a variety of tasks, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and bring a customer-service mindset to everything you do. You are equally comfortable managing administrative details, supporting recruitment efforts, and building strong relationships with employees and stakeholders across the business.
What You Bring Approximately 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or a related People & Culture role. Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Progress toward, or completion of, a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CHRP) designation is considered an asset. Experience working with HRIS/HCMS platforms; experience with HiBob is an asset. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high degree of professionalism and discretion. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools. A proactive, team-first approach and willingness to contribute wherever support is needed.
Compensation Details $60,000 - $85,000 base salary Discretionary Bonus Paid Vacation Time Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits RRSP Program – with a match! Employee Share Option Plan
