About the role
Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a key role in shaping how Fleetway attracts and hires talent. As part of a collaborative recruiting team, you will lead end-to-end recruitment activities while building strong pipelines of qualified candidates across a range of specialized roles within the defence and marine sectors.
In this role, you’ll go beyond simply filling positions—you’ll focus on building relationships, engaging talent, and strengthening our presence in competitive and niche markets. You’ll proactively source and connect with candidates, guide hiring teams through the recruitment process, and help ensure strong, informed hiring decisions through effective coordination of interviews and assessments.
You’ll also bring a data-informed approach to your work, using market insights and recruitment metrics to support meaningful discussions with hiring managers and improve hiring outcomes. Alongside this, you’ll contribute to employer branding and outreach efforts, leveraging social media, events, and partnerships to promote Fleetway and build engaged talent communities.
This role is ideal for someone who is curious, resourceful, and driven—someone who enjoys solving recruiting challenges, building lasting relationships, and taking ownership of their searches from start to finish.
