About the role
XCMG Group is one of the world's leading construction machinery companies, with a global footprint across equipment manufacturing, sales, service, and support. As we continue to grow our North American business, we are looking for a hands-on Human Resources Generalist / HR Manager to support our Canadian operation in Edmonton, Alberta.
This is a full-time, on-site role supporting a local team of approximately 20-30 employees. The position is well suited for an experienced HR professional who enjoys owning a broad HR function in a growing business environment.
Key focus areas include:
- Full-cycle recruitment and onboarding
- Employee relations and day-to-day HR support
- HR policies, records, and process improvement
- Coordination with payroll, benefits, compliance, and leadership as needed
- Supporting a positive, practical, and business-oriented workplace culture
Ideal background:
- 5+ years of HR generalist, HR advisor, HR business partner, or HR manager experience
- Experience supporting Canadian employees and local HR practices
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, construction, heavy equipment, transportation, mining, or related sectors is an asset
- CPHR or working toward CPHR is an asset
