Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Burlington, ON. Working directly with leadership, you will take ownership of daily HR operations, high-volume recruitment, employee relations, and departmental administration.

Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruitment: Build and run high-volume recruitment campaigns. Handle everything from job postings and phone screenings to conducting in-person interviews and onboarding. HR Administration: Maintain compliant employee/contractor files. Standardize new hire documentation, update policy manuals, and manage benefit administration. Employee Relations & Compliance: Serve as the main point of contact for policy questions and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) interpretation. Ensure strict compliance with provincial legislation and health and safety regulations. Discipline & Performance: Document and issue progressive discipline, investigate workplace complaints, and coordinate dispute resolutions. Leave Management: Manage WSIB cases, medical leaves, and return-to-work accommodations. On-Site Support: Travel to field locations in Southern Ontario as needed for face-to-face employee relations (investigations, terminations, training).
Job Qualifications Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. CHRP designation (or currently pursuing) is an asset. Strong knowledge of Ontario employment legislation; experience working within a unionized environment (CBA) is highly valued. Excellent interpersonal skills with an assertive, professional communication style. Highly organized, tech-savvy, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
