About This Location:

Our Home Office is in the heart of Bloor West Village in Toronto, just steps away from Jane Subway station. This role is a hybrid position with a requirement to attend the office 2 days a week or more depending on the needs of the business.

About This Role

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator supports the full recruitment lifecycle by coordinating administrative and operational hiring activities to ensure timely, efficient, and compliant talent acquisition processes. This role plays a key part in delivering a positive candidate experience while supporting hiring managers and maintaining alignment with Canadian employment legislation and HRPA professional standards. The incumbent contributes to workforce planning efforts by tracking recruitment metrics, supporting employer branding initiatives, and ensuring recruitment practices are consistent, equitable, and effective

Key Qualifications And Demonstrated Abilities

Degree or diploma in Human Resources or a similar field. 1 year of experience in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition. Experience with ADP Workforce Now’s Applicant Tracking System would be an asset. Knowledge of Ontario employment legislation (ESA, Human Rights Code, AODA) Understanding of HRPA professional standards and ethical practices Familiarity with recruitment processes, ATS platforms, and HR systems Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion Analytical skills to interpret recruitment metrics and improve processes Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in hiring practices Exemplifies Arbor’s values of compassion, integrity, trust, belonging, teamwork and excellence.

Responsibilities

Screen resumes and supports preliminary candidate assessments Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) Liaise with hiring managers to coordinate interviews and recruitment timelines Draft job postings and assist with role requirements documentation Facilitate background checks, reference checks, and pre-employment processes Ensure compliance with ESA, AODA, and Human Rights Code requirements during hiring Prepare recruitment reports (e.g., time-to-fill, candidate pipeline metrics) Support employer branding initiatives (career fairs, job boards, social media) Assist with onboarding coordination and pre-employment documentation Collaborate with external vendors (agencies, background screening providers) Coordinate recruitment activities including job postings, interview scheduling, and offers
