The Role

We are looking for a talented Field Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing full life cycle recruitment across our regional operations, ensuring we attract and retain top-tier talent to keep our fleet and facilities moving. You will work closely with local Operations Managers, District Directors, and the broader HR team to build sustainable talent pipelines and meet regional hiring priorities. The role reports to the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full Cycle Recruitment: Drive the end-to-end recruitment process for field operations, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and facilitating the offer and onboarding stages.
  • Hiring Manager Partnership: Act as a consultative talent advisor to district leadership and operations managers, aligning recruitment efforts with local workforce planning goals.
  • Proactive Sourcing: Leverage diverse sourcing channels, local networking, and advanced recruitment tools to build strong passive pipelines for high-volume and niche operational roles.
  • Community & Brand Presence: Elevate GFL's employer brand by coordinating and representing the company at local job fairs, community events, and trade schools to attract diverse talent.
  • Data-Driven Recruitment: Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) integrity and utilize recruitment metrics to track pipeline health, identify hiring risks, and share market intelligence with leadership.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in full life cycle recruitment, preferably in a fast-paced field, industrial, logistics, or blue-collar environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with modern Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Workday, and advanced sourcing platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, robust relationship-building abilities, and the flexibility to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced operations environment.
  • Bonus Points: Experience navigating high-volume regional recruitment across multiple field locations or districts.
