Position: Talent Acquisition Specialist Location: Mississauga (Hybrid) Salary: $45-$55 per hour (Based on experience) Job Type: Temporary (6 months with the potential for extension) Posting Type: Open Vacancy
We are assisting our client, a governing regulatory body, in Mississauga to find an adaptable and tech-savvy Talent Acquisition Specialist for a long-term contract opportunity. This role is ideal for an ambitious Talent Acquisition professional with approximately 5 years of in-house experience who is looking to broaden their exposure across Talent Acquisition and People & Culture.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, evolving environment, embraces change, and is excited to contribute beyond recruitment by supporting projects, technology initiatives, and continuous process improvements.
What You'll Do:
- Manage high-volume, full-cycle recruitment for both internal and external hiring.
- Partner closely with operational hiring managers to understand workforce needs and deliver an exceptional recruitment experience.
- Support Talent Acquisition and People & Culture initiatives, including process improvements, ATS enhancements, and project work.
- Leverage technology to improve recruitment processes, reporting, and overall efficiencies.
- Balance multiple priorities while adapting to changing business needs in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years of in-house, full-cycle Talent Acquisition experience in a high-volume environment.
- Experience partnering with operational leaders and managing multiple concurrent requisitions.
- Exposure to Talent Acquisition projects, process improvement initiatives, or HR technology/ATS enhancements.
- Strong technical aptitude with a passion for leveraging technology to improve the candidate and hiring manager experience.
- A flexible, proactive approach with the ability to thrive in an evolving environment with shifting priorities.
- Experience in a unionized environment is considered an asset.
