Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Recruiter role based in Woodbridge, ON. The minimum experience required for the role is 2-3 yrs. The Recruiter will manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including intake meetings with hiring managers, drafting and posting job descriptions, sourcing candidates through multiple channels, and screening resumes. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting phone and in-person interviews, coordinating client interviews, managing feedback, and guiding candidates through the hiring process.
The Recruiter will build and maintain a strong talent pipeline, conduct reference checks, and ensure all candidate data is accurately tracked in the applicant tracking system. The role also involves partnering closely with clients to understand their workforce needs, supporting workforce planning, and contributing to continuous improvements in recruitment processes and candidate experience.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates. Strong client relationship and account management skills, with the ability to understand business needs and hiring priorities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and hiring managers. Ability to manage multiple requisitions, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), HR technology tools, and online job boards or professional networks. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to a high-quality candidate and client experience. Knowledge of staffing models such as temporary, contract-to-hire, and direct placement is an asset. Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and recruiting experience. Understanding of employment standards and basic HR best practices; CHRP or other HR-related certification is an advantage. Ability to work on-site in Woodbridge, ON and collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
