We’re looking for a detail-oriented Office Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly while supporting a vibrant and connected workplace.
In this role, you’ll partner with teams across the organization, helping to create a seamless day-to-day experience while contributing to initiatives that shape our culture and employee experience.
Key Elements Of This Role Include
Providing expense reporting support for various teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Coordinating and supporting events for the Trading and Marketing team. Supporting day-to-day team needs, including coordinating catering requirements across the business. Managing office supplies, including ordering and maintaining inventory to keep the workplace running smoothly. Supporting planning and execution of key Emera Energy initiatives. Assisting with cost center budget development and tracking to support informed decision-making. Coordinating with team to assist with onboarding of new employees. Working with Facilities as required. Maintaining SharePoint sites and supporting the creation of documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. Supporting payroll entry and related administrative processes.
These Skills Will Make You Successful
Minimum of Grade XII education and a recognized Administration and/or Business Certificate (or equivalent). Three (3) years of administrative support experience. Proficiency with various software applications including Excel, Word, Power Point, Oracle, and PeopleSoft is also required. PowerPlan experience as well as experience with finance/accounting and budgeting/budget management is considered an asset. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Detailed-oriented individual, working to a high standard with good judgement and the ability to work with confidentiality. Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills are required. A commitment to personal development would be an asset in this role.
