Job Description Summary The HR Specialist is responsible for providing daily administrative assistance and for maintaining detailed records to support Human Resources initiatives and activities.

Duties may include assisting with or maintaining announcements/team member communications, training, orientation, records management, timecards/payroll, and other administrative tasks to ensure HR policies and procedures are met. Job Description Assists and serves as an HR representative on assigned projects, programs, and team member/community engagement activities. Addresses team member questions or concerns and determines an appropriate course of action. Updates and manages team member information/bulletin boards including company policy documents, announcements/events, benefits details, and/or legally required notices. Assists with hiring and onboarding activities including but not limited to interviews, new hire orientation, hiring manager assistance, and other hiring administrative processes. Assists with ensuring accurate processing of payroll which may include the use of payroll software and sending final approvals to the finance office and HR Manager. Ensures and supports HR compliance with local and statutory laws and regulations. Creates employee schedules and tracks time and attendance for all hourly team members. Maintains confidentiality in managing sensitive HR/employee information. Assists with HR initiatives and grows team member engagement to create a culture aligned with our values: Teamwork, Empowerment, Integrity, Inclusion, and a Drive for Results Basic & Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Accredited degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred. Prior work experience maintaining timekeeping, payroll, or Human Resources compliance systems and processes preferred. Prior work experience in a customer service and/or manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to support team members in a 24 hour/7 day a week manufacturing operations environment required. Computer proficiency with software systems including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Strong interpersonal skills required.
