Job Title: Workday Integration Developer Location: Toronto, ON Duration: Contract (Hybrid – 2days in office/week)
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and support Workday inbound and outbound integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Orchestrations, and Workday Extend. Build and maintain integrations between Workday and third-party applications using SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT, WSDL, and web services. Develop and support custom reports, calculated fields, and BIRT reports to meet business requirements. Configure and maintain integration security, including ISU, ISSG, domain security policies, and PGP encryption/decryption. Perform data migration, validation, transformation, and reconciliation activities during implementations and production support. Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable integration solutions. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide ongoing support for Workday integrations and releases.
Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Report Writer, BIRT, and Workday Security. Expertise in XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST APIs, WSDL, and web services. Experience with Workday HCM modules, Business Processes, Staffing Models, and Security Framework. Knowledge of integration testing, deployment, and Workday release management. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills
