About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Workday Integration Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade Workday integrations across Human Capital Management (HCM) and Payroll platforms.
This role requires a highly experienced Workday Integration specialist capable of building scalable, secure, and reliable integrations while partnering with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Security, and Technology teams to deliver global solutions.
The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong functional knowledge of HR and Payroll processes, ensuring high-quality integrations that support mission-critical business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex Workday integrations. Build scalable solutions using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, Document Transformation and Workday Web Services. Develop inbound and outbound integrations between Workday and third-party Payroll, Benefits, HRIS, Identity Management, and Financial systems. Configure and support integrations using PECI, PICOF, WECI and other Core Connector technologies. Create and maintain Advanced Reports, Calculated Fields, and RaaS services. Develop XML/XSLT transformations for complex integration scenarios. Implement secure integrations using REST, SOAP, OAuth2, ISU, ISSG, SFTP, and PGP encryption. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide long-term solutions. Monitor integration performance, reliability, and SLA compliance. Participate in Workday releases and regression testing activities. Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Security, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle. Follow integration governance, coding standards, documentation, and change management processes. Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical best practices.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on experience developing Workday integrations. Strong experience with: Workday StudioCore Connectors (PECI, WECI, PICOF)Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)Document Transformation (DT)Workday Web ServicesXSLT Workday Studio Core Connectors (PECI, WECI, PICOF) Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) Document Transformation (DT) Workday Web Services XSLT Experience developing REST and SOAP integrations. Experience with Advanced Reports, Calculated Fields, and RaaS. Strong knowledge of Workday HCM. Strong knowledge of Payroll integrations. Experience integrating Workday with external Payroll providers and Benefits vendors. Experience implementing secure integrations using OAuth2, ISU, ISSG, SFTP and PGP. Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills. Experience working in Agile environments. Excellent communication skills. Advanced English (spoken and written).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting global Workday implementations. Experience with multiple Payroll providers (ADP, Alight, Strada, UKG, Paychex or similar). Knowledge of Benefits integrations. Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira and ServiceNow. Experience with Workday Security concepts. Experience supporting global HR and Payroll operations. Workday Integration Certification is a strong plus.
