About the role
Are you passionate about designing innovative learning and development programs? As a Bilingual Learning Specialist, you will be responsible for creating amazing customer and employee experiences by designing and facilitating Best Buy’s learning and development programs. You’ll use the latest and greatest methodologies and technologies that support our employees and leaders with structured training, knowledge expansion, performance support, and talent management needs. We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in-person interactions at our head office located in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes. For this purpose, the potential candidate will need to be located in the Vancouver Lower Mainland. What you’ll do: Plan and develop learning solutions across a variety of formats including eLearning, multimedia, webinars, instructor-led training, job aids, and performance support resources. Partner with SMEs and cross-functional teams to identify key strategic priorities for training. Collaborate with leaders, SMEs and stakeholders to ensure learning content is accurate, relevant, and aligned to strategic priorities. Design and develop learning solutions to support onboarding, development of personal, team, and leadership skills, product, systems, process, and sales development knowledge. Facilitate virtual, hybrid, and in-person learning programs in French and English. Coach presenters on facilitation and presentation skills. What we’re looking for: 3+ years of combined experience working as a learning specialist with related formal training. Proficient in Adobe CC, Articulate 360, MS Office and MS Teams. Prior experience facilitating/presenting training programs in a corporate/retail environment. Applied experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders and leadership teams. Experience managing digital content on Workday, Moodle or Blackboard. Bilingual in English and French with strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
